-
- Married 35 years to Lyle, a farmer, my best friend and farm
business partner
- We have 5 wonderful children, Val, Dan, Melissa, Justin and
Nathan, each running a business and living a short drive away
- We spoil 10 grandchildren, and 1 more is on the way
- I am the oldest of 5, 2 each brothers and sisters, Lyle is the
middle of 13 children
- Both of us grew up on a farm just a few miles from each other at
a time when that involved hard physical work, and co operation
- My spare time in childhood was preferably spent outside,
exploring the pond, the orchard and the creeks, or in a tree reading
a good book
- Favourite meal this week – a juicy t bone or pork tenderloin,
with a buttery baked potato and steamed veggies, with a glass of
full bodied red wine, shiraz or malbec
- Favourite meal next week – something savoury, maybe salmon with
hollandaise or a sweet sour stir fry, with a glass of red wine I was
blessed/cursed with adventurous tastebuds
- Dislike strong coriander, curry or mustard, don't use ketchup,
draw the line at animal head parts
- Love cross country skiing in the winter, walking in the summer,
taking grandchildren for adventures to the creeks and bush in the
spring and fall
- Spend the summer in the gardens, both flower and vegetable Only
way to get the right ingredients for my canned spaghetti sauce,
chili sauce, pepper jelly, sweet pickles and vegetables all winter

other games, just chatting
